The perspex for the fan shroud was re-tapped and LEDs affixed inside.


Everything was then soldered in place...


There was a bit of time to kill while they were waiting for some paint to dry on another part of the project, so they decided to start sleeving the wires for the LEDs. These were then tested, awesome!


The front panel was also rigged up with 5mm green LEDs.


Then cables were soldered on and braided to make them look smart. At this point, the front panel looks like some kind of bizarre insect.


Testing them out, everything works perfectly.
